On Thursday, October 6th, students and staff at Friendship Learning Center and Early Learning Center will be taking part in a national reading celebration called Read for the Record. People worldwide, and every student and staff member in our schools, will be reading the book Llama, Llama, Red Pajamas on this day. This is an excellent way to promote literacy throughout our district and community. Be sure to check in with your child about this opportunity. For more information go to www.readfortherecord.com.
